Spanning the western wall of the Church Street car park at RPA, the artwork features several concentric rings as a homage to the Turpentine Forest originally on this site.
This artwork is a nod to Country and the healing properties the Country provides. Ancient Aboriginal stories of medicine, food, caring and healing are embedded through the earth. In plants, stars, mountains, animals, bugs and shared through ceremonies of art, dance, song and movement. Paying homage to the Turpentine forest that was on this site for thousands of years holding the knowledge of Country.
