Forming part of the Nambour CBD Art Trail, the artwork features the endangered common death adder snaking through increasingly restrictive pairs of hands which end up tightly closed, disallowing the snake to pass through. The hands are a representation of the built human environment, driving out native species and nature.
As we expand and build our own environments, what space are we leaving for everything else?
