A commission by Burwood Council and designed in consultations with students from Burwood Girls High School. The workshops including drawing sessions, storytelling and students' experiences of growing up in Burwood and the surrounding areas. Several trinkets, such as a football, headphone, plushies, matryoshka dolls, and a bracelet represent current passions, hobbies, childhood memories, family heirlooms, and cultural identity alike. There are several beautiful flowers painted throughout the work.
The colour scheme are based on tiled murals found throughout the Burwood Girls High School grounds.
