The artwork references the space of the bar as a safe haven for silence or solitude.
Brecht's is a place where people in the city seek refuge, a place where they can just hide for a while, away from everything they don’t want to face, even just a while, as if we were all hermit crabs, hiding within our shells. Sometimes running away for a while is necessary.
