A library is a place of community significance, a store of information, accessible to all. This artwork allows the library to emerge from the garden and become a community focus. Employing a bold, graphic language the façade makes reference to the varied collection the library offers. The colours and forms remind us that the library is a creative and contemporary civic space, no longer just about books. Several other elements in the park around the library have also gotten the same colour motif.
