Spanning 30 metres wide and 11 metres tall, this artwork is a tribute to NYC art figures Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Painted as part for the Crossing Lines exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), the work features black and white portraits of the artists and a myriad of lines and symbols representing both of their works.
The work is a collaboration between the NGV, and photographers Dean Sunshine and p1xels. Heesco painted the portraits, while the line works were created by Conrad (on the left) and Chehehe on the right. Other artists who have featured works on the base of the artwork include Dvate, Phibs, Ling, Sabeth, and Dukey Grimo.
