Muralisto

Muralisto is a Sydney-based public art studio specialising in large-scale murals, creative placemaking, and community-led co-design. Founded on the belief that art is inseparable from place and people, Muralisto works with schools, councils, and organisations to create works that reflect the stories, values, and aspirations of the communities they serve.
Their projects range from sprawling park murals to pavement installations, with a process that prioritises deep community engagement — running workshops, collage sessions, and co-design programs to ensure the finished work genuinely belongs to the people it represents. Past collaborations include Glenwood High School students, residents of Bella Vista, young people at Foyer Central, and the queer community during Mardi Gras at Sydney Olympic Park.
Guided by values of imagination, curiosity, accountability, and care, Muralisto approaches each project with both artistic rigour and social purpose — bringing colour, connection, and meaning to the everyday built environment across Eora/Sydney and beyond.
