Bats

A commission of several flying foxes or fruit bats flying or hanging from a black and white tree. The artwork was created to bring more recognition to these species, threatened by habitat loss and extreme weather, but also act as seed dispersers to regenerate native bushland.

Bats get a bad rap, but they are the silent architects of our forests.
