The Kurri Kurri Bowling Club mural was commissioned with the intention to commemorate generations of men and women from army, navy and air forces, their commitment and heroism, displaying national pride and honour and providing a grateful community the opportunity to demonstrate respect for all veterans.
Today the Kurri Kurri RSL Sub-Branch retains these values and commitments to the community, through their varied projects and initiatives. The Sub-Branch still today upholds these ideals and its dedication to the Kurri Kurri community.
Kurri Kurri Bowling Club collaborated with local artist Daniel Joyce in 2023 to finish the mural. The painting serves as both the Kurri Kurri RSL Sub-Branch's residence and a sign of pride in the country.
