This mural shows local bullocky, Peter Avery, and his team pulling timber in the Watagan Mountains. Peter and his father Les were the last time fulltime bullock drivers in this area. Les would cut logs for telegraph poles and haul them by bullock drawn wagon to Kurri Kurri.
This bullock team featured in the Kurri Kurri Centenary Parade and also in two movies including 'Oscar and Lucinda.' The bullock team is now retired.
The artwork was repainted in 2015 after fading significantly, particularly the red colours of the spectrum.
