A partnership with the NSW Rural Fire Service, Mountains Youth Services Team (MYST), and students from Springwood High School and Nepean Creative & Performing Arts High School, creating this project over the course of two months. Over two months, MYST and the artists held workshops with the high schools to incorporate a design for each tank, with design themes including wildfire protection, connection to community and Country, and the surrounding environment. The artwork was created over two days with students painting alongside the artists.
The project was made possible with funding from Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal through the Strengthening Rural Communities grant.
