Southern Right Whale

A Southern Right Whale which stands alone painted at the southern ramp of Bondi Beach. The whale's texture is covered comprehensively with graffiti style art, with a few faces appearing within. A small dedication on the left reads "Mahalo Spanos, Paula-pola, Thorn from Honolulu to Sydney. Aloha!"

Aloha! It’s a Southern Right Whale, which swims in your waters there, I thought tribes would have some relationship with it there. There are Aboriginal spirits as well—just acknowledging those who have come before us.
