Murmurations

Bringing a splash of colour to Guildford Laneway, a flock of birds fly upwards around a broken cage with rich plant life growing all around. The artwork takes its inspiration and name from murmurations, the sounds made by wing beats as they make to formations in the sky. At the base of the artwork on the corner of the carpark are several finches and small birds standing around a bird cage, while the laneway also shows the birds in movement with several plants and leaves growing in density.
