The artist worked with Year 5 art extension students from Howrah Primary School through workshops to create this work, which was facilitated with a paint-by-numbers process for the first layers of the mural.
The mural depicts Tasmania's beautiful native flora and fauna including the Musk Lorikeet, Waratah, Silver Ferns, Great Sun Orchid, Golden Bulbine-lily, Pink Fairy Orchid and Showy Bossia Pea Flower, which are all native and local to the area.
