A pair of Satin Flycatchers and a Blue-banded Bee emerging from a portrait on the north-eastern corner of Northgate Shopping Centre, which was painted over six days. While both the birds and the bee are endemic to Australia, the bee is not found in Tasmania, in which its presence symbolises a meaning of place and belonging. Where everyone (and everything) has a place, and belongs somewhere.
