Inspired by traditional Indonesian art and culture and dedicated to the peace it can bring, painted as part of the Kultura Project showing people intertwined with each other. The artwork translates from Indonesian/Malay to The Soul of the Archipelago, the Body in Diaspora, where one's spirit remains rooted in their original homeland, while their bodies are scattered across the world.
On 24 July 2024 the base artwork was heavily expanded to include many ships travelling between Indonesia and Australia, detailing of several characters and sailors bringing their culture down under. Painted at the rear of the 16albermarle Project Space.
