The design was suggested in collaboration with locals throughout Darlington and Redfern with a focus on the history, stories and relationships around the site. The artwork features three main portraits that pay tribute to the youth support and education in the area:
The mural is rich in genuine community given that each of those featured in this all-female wall are renowned by locals. It also has an alternative name "Aunty Beryl's Mural". The true boss of the house though, is the small westie terrier Billy, featured on the side.
