Two murals created during the Gosford City Street Art Festival - "Taking Art to the Streets" in 2010 within the car park.
When I was 15 I sustained a severe head injury. Which resulted with bleed on the brain, a fractured skull, 24 stitches, 16 staples. I was in a coma for a week, because of the changed cognitive function I continue to draw all day every day.
The most prevalent themes of my artworks relate tot he existence of the (outsider) in modern society via consumption, isolation, desire, love, and how modern societies worship make believe icons or notions that represent objects they desire to consume.
In contrary to basing facets of my art on sectors of modern societies; I do not try to compete with other artists... or try be better than anyone else. I create my artwork in the form of my own fictional characters. Based on figments of my imagination from past, current experiences, and future dreams of the (outsider).
If the viewer can relate to my work as being a good or bad thing? This may be the minimal communication that the (outsider) has with the viewer; but is invaluable when communicating or contributing to a modern society.
